The 3rd Annual Levi Baur 3D Memorial Archery Benefit

Spring is just around the corner and we are gearing up for the 3^rd Annual Levi Baur Memorial Archery Shoot.  Due to the overwhelming response and support from last year’s event, we are expecting a sell-out crowd this year!

This event, created in memory of Levi Baur, benefits the Levi Baur Scholarship Fund at the Crawford School.  Levi, a 4th grade student at Crawford Elementary, drowned in a tragic accident while on his way to hunt with his Dad on December 16, 2001.  Levi was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and a multitude of other sports.

This year’s event will be held all in one day, Saturday, April 17^th.  The 3-D archery shoot will be held at the beautiful Tonkawa Park in Crawford, Texas.  The barbeque and auction will take place at the Amslers Building, located in downtown Crawford on Hwy 317.  All proceeds will go to the Levi Baur Scholarship Fund at Crawford School.

The non competitive 3-D Archery events in Tonkawa Park  will start registration beginning at 9:00a.m. and events will end in the park at 3:30p.m. During the archery event, there will be concessions, music, a balloon release, children's play and activity area, and lots of other fun for the entire family.  Tickets for the Archery shoot are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

The doors will open for the barbeque dinner in Crawford's Amsler Building at 5:00p.m. and the auctions will start at 7:00p.m.  There will also be a drawing for several exciting raffle items again this year.  Tickets for the dinner are $10 for adults and $5 for children 8 and under.

The Baur family and those who worked on the previous 2 year’s events are tremendously grateful for the generosity of  the many individuals, archery clubs and businesses that gave time, donations and moral support, making the Levi Baur Memorial Archery Benefit such an overwhelming success.  We feel that through this event, Levi is still touching the hearts of many children and adults by bringing them together to experience what he loved so much…family, friends, archery and the great outdoors.

Great Raffle Prizes, Polaris Magnum 330 2x4 4-wheeler, 27" television, Massage package from Spa at Canyon Oaks, or a Digital Camera.  Tickets are $10 each or 4 for $30.
