Your web page certainly has a lot of information. I was looking for the Mayor or Town Leader to compare both Towns of Crawford. I am a Councilwoman for the Town of Crawford in upstate New York and would like to share our thoughts with you.

Hi all...

Your web site is very interesting and informative, I was in Crawford about one month ago (May 19), and of course purchased the "mandatory" George W. Bush T-shirt from Larry and Norma at "Crawford Country Style." I met several local people who were very helpful with directions, and everyone I met was very friendly. Wishing you all the best...:)

I like the small town feeling I get when I visited your web site. Never have been to Texas, and would like to see some maps of your area. We are horse people up here in Minnesota, and would like to be able to visit you some day.

I followed a link on a new story about President Bush. I can see how his wife and him choose to have a place in you beautiful town. I wish you all the success in the world. This is one great looking place.

I have never been to Texas, but if I go, Crawford will be the one place I visit.

God bless you all

Look out Crawford Citizens technology progress is coming to your area fast. Great idea for the web site! A local small town called Frazier Park started this way and now has a web site for the school, businesses, and even web cams for viewing the roads. I'm sure your web site will influence more of the laid back Crawford citizens to step on this fast moving train and get a computer online to see what's going on. UGH!

Why this sounds like a very sweet little town! After reading the Los Angeles Times article (June 17,2001), I now want to visit! I've never even been to Texas. I pray that this little town is not exploited by insensitive investors. I'm sure I'll visit Crawford this year. Thank you Very Much! This website was included in an article in the Los Angeles Times today. I was especially interested in the "Photos" section. The pictures of downtown resemble an attraction at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. I'm guessing that Crawford is the real thing...

I think it is wonderful, that you have a website where people can learn about Crawford. I am also pleased to have President George W. Bush, as a resident of McLennan County. It has given Crawford a well needed boost. As one of the last few descendants of Neill McLennan, Sr., for whom the county was named, living in the county, I sent, then Governor Bush, a letter welcoming him to Mclennan County. and assuring him, that "Old Neill", would have been, very proud, to have him as a resident of the county. Sincerely, Sally McLennan Truhlar

On March 23rd my Wife and I visited Crawford, TX on our way down to our son's ranch in Liberty Hill, TX. We enjoyed our brief, but pleasant 2 hour visit there. I had picked up a letter sent to there General Delivery, just to say I had and the Postmaster was very nice and pleasant to talk with. Mailed a few inaugural postmarks to relatives. Then we made a good choice to stop at the "Coffee Station" for a bite to eat and some more visiting.

We picked up a few T-shirts, hand towels and coffee mugs with the Crawford/Bush logos on them from the Bairds. We felt right at home with you all and I want to thank the people of your warm community for a making it so.

I worked many years in the Agrispray business as a spray pilot, in and around the state of Texas. Being in the farming community again is always a pleasure. I realize how much I miss it. Hope to spend more time with my son and family on their ranch after I retire. There's plenty of work waiting for me, cutting, ear taging, doctoring calves, and drilling in haygrazer, etc.

We will return to Crawford as I feel a connection there. My grandfather and his father came from Tennessee to Garrison, TX in the 1890s, just like all the Scots that settled in the Robertson Colony. Quite a history there in central Texas. We also made a trip to Salado, TX and found the historical museum there.

All in all I love Texas and her people.  We are proud of our new President and First Lady. God bless them and our country.

Thanks again Crawford!

Sincerely,

Ronald and Marlene Crawford 17 Roy Crawford Lane Santa Fe, NM 87505

Funny but I've been coming to Crawford all my life (49 years) and before President Bush lived there, no one even knew where it was! Well - they know where you are now, Crawford! Thanks for the recent visit to see my parents, Sam & Nan Travis and there is nothing better than the Coffee Station's CHICKEN FRIED STEAK! Yummmmy!

Had fun looking at your website with my parents today. My father Eben R. Kilpatrick grew up in Crawford, and he and my mother Marcella spent their honeymoon at The Tonkawa Falls Clubhouse in 1947! I spent many holidays there with aunts, uncles & cousins at my grandmother's (Edith Kilpatrick's) home. I also wore out swimming suit bottoms at Tonkawa Falls. Hi, I am Chase Harrell, and I go to Crawford High School. I am in the seventh grade. I think that it is really cool that Bush, or president lives in our community. I don't think that my opinion will count, but I knew form the begining(no offence) that Gore was going down. I hope that President Bush loves his stay at our wonderful town of Crawford.
